About

Conservation. Community. Education.

The CCCC is a catch-and-release fly fishing classic within the famed Charmed Circle of the Catskills.

The CCCC is all about conservation, community, and education. The aim of the event is not only to bring local anglers together in a unique setting, but to highlight the importance of conservation, community, and education in maintaining the natural beauty of the famed Charmed Circle fishery. With an emphasis on safe practices and sustainability in safeguarding the waterways of the Catskills region and beyond, the hope is to create an environment where residents and visitors alike are able to learn and experience the natural wonders of our pristine streams and rivers.

The CCCC is a collaboration between Housefly Fishing of Hawley, PA and West Kill Brewing of West Kill, NY.

Over the course of two days, individual anglers or teams of two will fish for the chance to win some great prizes! All proceeds (after costs) will go toward Theodore Gordon Flyfishers and their conservation efforts in the area.

Participating anglers will compete in the following categories:

  • Top Prize: Most Species Caught (any and all NYS/PA legal game fish)

  • Heaviest Garbage Bag (most trash retrieved from waterways by weight)

  • Longest Fish:

  • Brown Trout

  • Rainbow Trout

  • 5 miles down a dead end road sits West Kill Brewing: a small batch craft brewery nestled in the Catskill Mountains.

No matter what we’re making, it’s our untouched mountain water that truly showcases the natural beauty of this place. From clean, crisp lagers to malty, rich stouts, we aim to reflect the great location in which our brewery was born… and more importantly, give back.

While beer is our passion, we operate with an emphasis on conservation, community, and education in maintaining the natural beauty of the famed Catskill Mountains.

Beer tastes better when it’s working for the outdoors.
