This is a catch-photo-release, fly fishing only event with teams of one or two anglers.

Teammates may fish together or in different locations, but official scorecards must be tallied for the whole team.

The minimum fish size for entry is 10 inches.

We do this to ensure smaller fish are released safely and quickly. If your catch is under 10 inches, simply record the species after releasing. Please do not attempt to measure smaller fish.

Handle all fish carefully!

Once in the net, all fish should be photographed at the water level alongside the official measuring device, and released. All photos should have a time and date stamp. If you are unsure about best practices for catch & release fishing, review them. Remember, always keep fish wet!

Fishing will be limited to the Charmed Circle on public water only.

In the weeks and days preceding the event, participants will receive updates on temperatures for the approved waterways. If a tributary is determined to be too warm, it will be closed to CCCC anglers.

All competition fishing must take place between Saturday, June 7th, and Sunday, June 8th.

Angling may begin at sunrise on Saturday and must conclude by 1:59 pm on Sunday.

All scorecards must be returned IN PERSON by 2pm on Sunday, June 8th.

Scorecards must be returned by hand to West Kill Brewing, located at 2173 Spruceton Road by 2pm. No photos of scorecards received by e-mail or text will be accepted.

All fish must be caught on a barbless artificial fly using fly fishing gear.

Put your spinners away for this one, folks, and crimp, crimp, crimp!

All participants must have a current NYS and/or PA fishing license.

All anglers must obey all NYS and PA fishing laws.

Entrants must be 21+ unless accompanied by a guardian.

Bring the younger folks to the party afterwards! We’ll have plenty of NA drinks for everyone.

By registering for this event, you affirm that you are voluntarily participating in the Classic entirely at your own risk.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Housefly Fishing, West Kill Brewing, Theodore Gordon Flyfishers, & the Catskills Charmed Circle Fly Classic against any and all claims, suits or actions of any kind.

Violation of any of the above rules will result in disqualification.
